| Aims |
| Provide specialist technical support to Middle East & Africa region customers on
Skin & Wound Care best practices and support with 3M Solutions. |
| Role |
1. Provide necessary specialist technical support to 3M customers in the MEA region countries of GCC, Lebanon, Jordan, North Africa, Egypt, Pakistan, South Africa and other countries
2. Train and educate customers on 3M Skin & Wound Care products & solutions.
3. In field, hands-on demonstration of existing and new 3M products & solutions.
4. Troubleshooting of customer problems including product use, performance and quality.
5. Work with the MEA Business Development Manager to establish the technical components of the strategic plan – market trends, VOC/VOM, field testing, new product launch calendar, KOL plan.
6. Conduct and analyze technical competitive product information
7. Communicate with the global technical network to replicate success stories, new products and best
practices.
8. Develop and maintain an indepth knowledge of the infection prevention and wound management
regulations and practices applied in healthcare facilities in MEA region.
9. Maintain a regular presence in hospitals and continually participate in applications.
10. Build and maintain a network of key opinion leaders (KOL).
11. Represent 3M at professional / scientific congresses and meetings. |
| Requirements |
- Degree or advanced degree in a Nursing or any health science related field
In depth knowledge of the common procedures used for wound care.
In depth knowledge of nursing regulations and practices in healthcare facilities
5-7 years experience in wound care – in the clinic/hospital, business and/or technical field.
Clinical experience in dealing with wound care, especially in dealing with chronic wounds.
Hands-on experience of working with healthcare practitioners at all levels.
Experience in training and lecturing to healthcare professionals.
Experience of working on regulatory bodies in the healthcare sector.
Experience in identifying technical data of interest from the published literature.
Experience in the Middle East & Africa Region
Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare practitioners at all levels.
Ability to effectively present technical concepts to Healthcare professionals.
Ability to effectively train and educate internal and external customers.
Self-driven, dynamic, proactive approach.
Structured & well organized approach with ability to multi-task.
Good commercial awareness.
First rate communication and presentation skills (written and oral).
Good inter-personal contact skills.
Ability to work in an international environment with different cultures and work methods.
Ability to work in teams – cross-functional and multicultural.
Capable of working with health care leaders and developing strategies to use them to drive business growth.
